Description: Use this quality, latex free, non toxic plaster cloth roll for any of your art or craft projects. It is great for all kinds of sculpture, craft projects, home decor, mask making, jewelry, bandages, and school projects. There are four different size rolls so you can choose the right size for your project.
Plaster cloth is easy to use and manipulate so that it can conform to whatever your project is. The cloth is made from a fine cotton gauze that has been evenly infused with plaster. Use one long piece or cut into smaller pieces with scissors. The benefit of getting these pre infused rolls is that you can create complex forms with plaster cloth without the hassle of having to cut up cloth and dip it in plaster yourself, which is a messy and frustrating process!
Once you have cut the cloth simply wet with water and apply it to your armature, wire mesh, or solid surface. Let it set for a few seconds to stiffen and fold, wrap, or drape it on its own. The plaster sets quickly and the surface can be sanded once it has fully set. A number of different finishes can then be applied to the surface including paint, marker, color pencil, varnish, and more.
