Description

The Klein 87150 Klein-Lite Tradesman's Fall Arrest Harness Set is designed to arrest free falls and distribute impact forces over thighs, pelvis, chest, and shoulders as required by OSHA. The set includes the 87140 fall arrest harness and the 87473-deceleration lanyard. Lightweight polyester construction of the harness allows for comfortable all day use, and improved chemical resistance compared to nylon. Easy-connect leg buckles have friction-slide adjusters for quick engagement/disengagement. Straps have friction-style buckles for adjustments over a continuous range of sizes. The universal size harness is designed to fit most people. Friction slide adjusters hold shoulder straps in place so the user does not need to readjust for each use. Color contrasting shoulder and leg straps simplify putting the harness on. The 87140 fall-arrest harnesss drop-forged circle D-rings feature a corrosion-resistant finish, wear-minimizing roller, and are proof-loaded to meet OSHA regulations. Seat strap adds extra comfort and support. The 87473-Klein-Lite nylon-webbing deceleration lanyard is a fixed 6-feet long, and contains an energy-absorbing inner core made of polyester. The core is protected by an outer shell made of orange tubular nylon webbing. Equipped with two drop-forged steel, corrosion-resistant Klein-Look locking snap-hooks with 11/16-Inch throat openings. Designed solely for use in fall-arrest systems. Identity and warning tags and/or labels are reminders of proper application and inspection procedures. Harnesses are certified and compliant with ANSI and CSA requirements.
