This gorgeous handcrafted pendant was made with a glittering, pink cobaltoan calcite druzy, wrapped in antiqued Sterling silver wire with gem-quality, faceted rubellite tourmaline beads. It measures 44x30x15mm (1.7" x 1.2" x 0.6") and comes suspended on an 18" antiqued Sterling silver chain. The wire was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, then coated in clear lacquer to resist tarnish and preserve the aged finish of the pendant. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece, since each and every crystal is unique and it was wrapped to echo the dimensions and morphology of the focal stone. What a stunner! Druzys occur naturally as tiny crystals on a matrix surface (most often as agates) and their sparkle makes them highly sought after by jewelry artists and collectors alike. This druzy is natural and has NOT been color-treated or dyed.
