Description

Botanical Name: Cinnamomum Camphora. Package/Form: 0.6 oz - 2.2 oz: Amber Glass Bottle w/ Euro Dropper or Phenolic Cap; 4 oz - 16 oz: Amber Plastic Bottle. Blends well with: Basil, Cajeput, Chamomile, Lavender, Melissa Leaf, and Rosemary. Common Uses: The chemical constituents of Camphor Essential Oil attribute it with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, carminative, diuretic, insecticide, and laxative properties. Camphor oil has been used in the treatment of nervous depression, acne, inflammation, arthritis, muscular aches and pains, sprains, rheumatism, bronchitis, coughs, colds, fever, flu and infectious diseases. It is a well-known repellent of moths and other insects, and is an ingredient in moth balls. Highly recommended in aromatherapy for respiratory congestion. Predictably it blends well with rosemary and eucalyptus. Shelf Life and Storage from the time of distillation: Approximately 2 - 3 years.
