Description

The Ferrofluid Magnetic Display is a sealed bottle containing a liquid that becomes highly magnetized when exposed to a magnetic field. Watch it react in strange and astonishing ways to the included magnets. Ferrofluid is composed of nano-scale magnetic particles suspended in a transparent liquid. Undisturbed ferrofluid forms into a smooth pool, but when a magnet is brought close, the liquid springs into action, dancing into bizarre structures resembling a sea urchin, a waterfall, and more, depending on the distance and strength of the magnet. The magnets included are surprisingly strong. The fluid is encased in a glass vial, so there is no risk of spilling, allowing you to safely and easily play with this spectacular substance. Using the two neodymium magnet tools and two spare magnets, you can spike, toss, drop, pull and bridge the ferrofluid. Ferrofluid makes for a totally unique executive gift.
