Description

Delightfully sophisticated shaving gift set with exceeding French charm. Cold-saponified French soap, Hitton is cured in-tub so the soap is stable while loading, no lather escaping off the edges. This soap uses a 30% donkey milk base from Pyrenees donkeys raised by the makers themselves. Palm-and-tallow-free. Only pure essential oils are used for fragrance, and lavender used was grown on their own farm. Organic donkey milk accompanied with olive, coconut, and castor oils, shea butter, and white clay - finally, perfumed with essential oils. Exceptional fragrance magnitude among shaving soaps which use only (costly) essential oils. The lather of Hitton is creamy, wet, and quite unstable and challenging, a "high maintenance"/"high reward" soap relationship. Use as little water in brush as possible, for the soap's latitude goes from too dry max density to too airy in an instant (many French soaps from this region behave as such) - only add water very sparingly as the foam thickens. Used properly, Hitton will present a wet, slippery cushion for approximately 30-60 at once, enough to get a good pass with the blade but incapable of shortening-thick-and-stable lather (as a stearic/tallow based soap). The slippery, moist facet of Hitton regularly exceeds the best stearic/tallow soaps - but one accepts the tinkering to achieve this lofty engineering aim.
