The oil is also a powerful disinfectant and has been deemed more effective than most common household cleaning products. Sweet Thyme, containing thymol, is a powerful antiseptic and is used to assist with nail fungus treatment. The oil may be blended with a carrier oil and applied to the affected area twice daily for anti-fungal benefits.
