This Book of 20 Forever Stamps features six dishes from an array of Latin American culinary traditions that have found new life and variations in the United States.
The Delicioso Stamps feature bright and playful illustrations of tamales, flan, sancocho, empanadas, chile relleno, and ceviche. The books include four of the tamales and flan designs and three of each of the other designs. The names of the six dishes appear in a festive font above each mouthwatering image.
Each illustration was created by applying multiple layers of acrylic paint to textured boards, using sandpaper to reveal the hidden layers and give the designs a worn, vintage look.

With the new U.S. Flag stamp, the Postal Service continues its tradition of celebrating patriotism with one of the most recognizable symbols of the nation. The stamp features a detail from a photograph of the billowing Stars and Stripes. Terrence W. McCaffrey was the art director and Greg Breeding designed the stamp with an existing photograph of the flag taken by Tom Grill. This is for a new roll of 100 stamps. Check to make sure you have genuine stamps, and not counterfeits. Mail sent with counterfeit stamps can be confiscated. Genuine stamps will have microprinted letters USPS on every stamp. On the 2017 variety these letters are typically found on the right edge of the flag, visible with a magnifying glass (such as one of the images above). Genuine stamps have plate numbers such as "P1111" that appear 3 or 4 times along the bottom roll (usually every 25 stamps or so), as in the first product image. As difficult as it can be to put our primal fears and vulnerabilities in perspective, people are realizing that we pose far greater danger to sharks than they do to us. They are overfished for food and sport. The practice of "finning"-cutting off shark fins for a soup delicacy, only to throw the incapacitated animal back in the water-dooms a great many sharks. They are slower to reach reproductive maturity than other fish, and though they bear more developed offspring, because of unsustainable fishing this is no longer an evolutionary advantage over egg laying. Many populations are in collapse.
There is new hope, however. Shark ecotourism has become popular worldwide with enthusiasts excited to see these graceful fish underwater. Shark allure is resulting in increased study and greater understanding of these fantastic, still mysterious creatures.
Art director Derry Noyes designed the sheet with original artwork by Sam Weber. The sheet includes four stamps each of Weber's five shark illustrations.
