Description

Pxmalion Wood Filament is made with a blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and wood particles, which can be sanded and painted and has a sweet odor of wood.

It has the ease of use similar to PLA and is great for artists and hobbyists who are looking to experiment with different printing materials.

Wood filament is less viscous compared to PLA or ABS during printing. Please add a little extra extrusion to the beginning of the print to help prevent dry extrusion.

FRIENDLY NOTE

1. Try to avoid letting the filament sit in the hot end for any length of time while it is hot, as this tends to cause clogging. It is highly recommended this product be used with 0.4 mm nozzles or larger to avoid clogging.

2. When printing with filled/composite filaments it is recommended to clean your nozzle immediately after printing by feeding 15-20cm PLA filament through your nozzle. This will make sure that any potential fillers are flown out of your nozzle. It is even better to use glow in the dark PLA as the extremely hard phosphorous particles are much more likely to scrape out residual waste from your nozzle.
