With its 16-gauge steel construction, reliable high-strength locking mechanism, and precise fittings that are virtually impossible to pry open with hand tools, this Ivation gun safe is the perfect vault to keep weapons out of the wrong hands and valuables away from the wrong eyes. A soft protective foam liner covers the entire interior, while a removable steel shelf enables you to change the safe's layout to suit your storage needs. For added protection, pre-drilled anchoring holes on the bottom of the box are designed for flush mounting to the wall or floor in any orientation and without any visible bolts.

Four rubberized buttons serve as the keypad for entering the safe's unlocking code. You can choose to set a new passcode from 256 user-selectable combination possibilities.The onboard computer blocks access after repeated invalid keypad entries, and audio feedback confirms each correct keypad entry. Four AA batteries power the computer. A lowbattery indicator alerts you to change the batteries, and in the event of a forgotten passcode or dead batteries, use the included override keys for manual unlock.

Each button on the keypad sits in its own dedicated 'groove'. When you need to access your safe contents in the dark or in an emergency, your fingers can quickly find their positions in the grooves and instinctively know which buttons to press even without looking. Once unlocked - either by passcode or override key - the spring-loaded door flips open in an instant, affording you immediate access without losing precious, often critical, seconds. Locking the safe back up is a simple matter of pushing the door closed until the latch clicks. This can be done with one hand, thanks to the safe's steel weight.
