It is beveled on one side only to keep the cut absolutely tight to your rule or square. Defines an exact line for starting a chisel or saw blade. Designed to draw a line on the left side of a rule. Blade is 1/2 inches wide by 1/8 inch thick and 6 1/4 long. Made from super hard tempered and hardened high speed steel. Will take and hold an excellent edge.
