Description
Department 56 presents Legends of Sleepy HolloW-een. Inspired by the 1820's short story by Washington Irving this detailed scene takes place in a secluded glen called Sleep Hollow. Ichabod Cane, an extremely superstituious schoolmaster, leaves a party on an autumn night and is pursued across a bridge over the Pocantico River by the headless horseman. Each of the porcelain houses and figurines conjure up the spooky tale by Washington Irving.
