This gymnastics beam is solidly constructed to last. Great for gym or home use, the connectable sectional beam easily link together with the Velcro on base and on the face.
The weight is about 10 lbs. so it can be handled and transported easily. It is made of wood structure (not foam). Most common complaint about foam beams are too squishy, slip on carpet, and not stable. This beam is firm, stable, and does not slip around on floor or carpet easily. The top surface is padded suede similar to that of a competition beam so it gives a great realistic feel on the beam. Great for young gymnasts, cheerleaders, & martial artists
