This Edsal LWB2448 work bench has a hardboard-laminated particle board top shelf that supports 200 lb. per square foot when the weight is evenly distributed across the shelf, and a steel frame with an industrial gray powder coat finish for resistance to chipping and corrosion. It is suitable for use in industrial and manufacturing plants, classrooms, laboratories, and other work environments. The shelf is laminated with hardboard for resistance to impact, abrasion, and changes in temperature or humidity. The workbench's legs are made of welded steel and adjust in 1" increments to heights between 29" and 34" for ergonomic purposes. This workbench has a 12" deep lower shelf for storing items, and knockouts on the front and back of the frame for mounting double electric outlets (not included). It measures 29 x 48 x 24 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
