The molly bolts Hollow wall anchors with pointed ends can pierce drywall using just a hammer whereas ones with blunt ends require a pre-drilled hole. Zinc plating offers some corrosion resistance.

The Auger Anchors is a self-drilling drywall anchor installs into 3/8"- to 5/8"-thick drywall ceilings and walls without requiring a predrilled hole, Its corrosion-resistant glass-filled nylon body installs into drywall with a Phillips driver, a hand drill, or a screw gun.
