Description

An elegant and delightful serving piece in the Cobalt Net line from the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg. This is genuine Lomonosov porcelain. For more than half a century, the classic geometric pattern "Cobalt Net" was inspired by the luxurious dining sets going back to the time of Empress Catherine II, who reigned in Russia from 1762 to 1796. Its unique and elegant style has justifiably received world-wide acclaim. Each individual piece is hand painted with a striking combination of intertwining lines, drops and accents, by artists who carefully preserve the ancient art of porcelain painting and decoration. Materials used include hand applied genuine mineral cobalt and 22 karat gold.
