Description

• This 18 gauge AWG (.032"/1.02mm) copper wire solder provides the best color match on the market today. It is a vast improvement over regular copper solder which is silver in color. No copper solder is a perfect match, but if used as directed, this is a huge step forward. (See pictures.)
• For Best Results: Solder using the least amount possible. Pickle as usual. Lightly sand the seam then reheat, pickle and lightly sand, repeating the process until you have the desired color match. What this process does is draws the copper to the surface. So as long as sanding is minimal, the copper content on the surface of the seam will cover the silver color that is usual for copper solder.
