Description

Perfect wall repair drywall patch kit for DIY homeowners. Fill holes from door-knobs, elbows, fists, furniture, pets, picture hanging hooks, and other accidents.

No need to fill holes with a piece of drywall! These metal-backed mesh patches peel and stick over the hole to provide strength and keep the hole from coming back.

Includes:

• (3) All-Wall 8" x 8" Adhesive Backed Patches
• USG Sheetrock Pro Series 6" Joint Finishing Knife
• Large 9" x 3" x 1" Sanding Sponge with Medium Grit on One Side and Fine Grit on the Other Side

To use:
- Clean up loose drywall around hole and sand down any raised areas
- Peel backing paper off patch and center patch over hole - then press to adhere to wall
- Apply a coat of drywall compound/plaster/mud over patch and mesh, "feathering" the edges out approximately 6" around patch
- Allow mud to dry thoroughly, then sand patch and surrounding area to blend into wall
- Apply second coat of mud to fill any low areas and blend patch into wall
- Let dry and sand with fine side of sponge
- Repeat as necessary, then paint.
