Our Lava Love Pink Himalayan salt soap blends an organic shea butter-rich soap based enriched with soothing scents of rose. Plus a touch of zeolite and bentonite, volcanic ash from Northwest Volcanos. Volcanic ash binds strongly to toxins such as heavy metals and other environmental pollutants; and Zeolite is a type of volcanic mineral with a cage-like molecular structure that also binds to toxins and removes them from your hair. Lava Love was inspired by a healing journey. After company co-founder, Elisabeth Dunham, a widely published writer and nutritionist, was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in 2008, she spent years searching in vain for a cure through conventional means. She eventually healed herself over time by changing her diet and using clay baths and other protocols to detoxify her body and regain her immune function. She went from bedridden to working full time in a matter of months!
