Description

As time goes by, the burners on your gas range start to go bad. Most times, this is due to wear and tear on the burner which is caused over time from repeated igniting. The U.S. Solid Gas Range Burner head is easy to install and fits all Whirlpool ranges. To replace the burner, cut the gas and power to the stove, remove the burner cap and use a screwdriver or hex driver to disconnect the burner base. Disconnect the wires coming from the igniter. Usually, igniters use a quick disconnect system so you won't need to cut or splice wires. Use the model number of your stove to determine which replacement igniter you should purchase, install the new part, and replace the burner base, cap and grate. Restore the gas and power to the stove and test the burner. The U.S. Solid Gas Range Burner will allow you to start cooking on your stove top again.
