Our weighted blankets are designed by Melissa Hartwick, a former bridal designer who made her first weighted blanket for her daughter after their doctor recommended one to help with her sleep and anxiety. Our weighted blankets provide a calming effect, encourage sleep, and help teens and adults with various needs from Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD to Autism, Asperger's, and SPD. We have even had success with users suffering from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain! Blankets are custom made to order here in Charlotte, NC and ship within 1 week of order date!
Hypoallergenic: Our blankets are prewashed with allergen free products, preshrunk for accuracy, and made in clean, hypoallergenic sewing facilities.

Sewn with incredible detail and quality. Use in both summer and winter seasons due to our breathable 100% cotton fabric!! Filled with hypoallergenic plastic pellets, securely sewn into pockets evenly distributed across the blanket. We add hypoallergenic "fluff" for added comfort. MACHINE WASH AND DRY. Blankets are sized at 42" by 72" and fit the TOP ONLY of the bed, not the top and sides, for safety reasons.

I (Melissa) borrowed the blanket I made for my daughter so often to help with my own PTSD that I made a second one, and decided to start a company using my sewing experience (I used to make bridal couture) to help other families with special needs like my own. I can't describe what it feels like to feel the added sense of safety from my weighted blanket that helps combat trauma, stress, and insomnia. I love being able to help others find those same results! Our blankets are sewn with incredible attention to detail and quality.
