Sweet, neat Emma (Ashley Olsen) cares more for fashion than sports, to the consternation of her competitive father, soccer coach Jerry (Eric Lutes--"Caroline in the City"). While Emma wishes she could score points with Jerry like Sam (Mary-Kate Olsen), her scrappy tomboy sister, Sam envies Emma's natural boy-catching talents. Ending up on rival coed soccer teams, the girls trade places to help their dad win the championship--and Sam win the school hunk. But when overly analytical Mom (Kathryn Greenwood--Kids In the Hall: Brain Candy) coaches Jerry's opposition and the twins' charade unravels, the whole family learns a few lessons beyond good sportsmanship.
