Description

These two magnets are the bottom magnets for the famous magnetic levitation projects. The two magnets are already stacked together for your convenience. They are made of a grade 8 ceramic magnetic material which is the strongest grade available and are a strong yet economic solution. The ring shape of these magnets are great for displaying the effect on that magnetic field that different shaped magnets can have. Ceramic magnets aren't quite as strong as neodymium magnets but are a cost effective solution to many situations, such as when a neodymium magnet would be too strong or too expensive.

There are two ring magnets included, and this magnet's ring shape makes it great for science experiments or DIY projects that may require the ring shape of this magnet. The dimensions of this magnet are 115mm in diameter, 20mm thick and has a 45mm hole going through the center of the magnet. Some applications for this magnet are making a DIY speaker, a DIY magnet shaped magnet, or a magnetic levitation science experiment.

Notes:
1. Please wear a pair of gloves when you handle them. Keep them two feet apart from each other or from other steel items so to avoid them snapping together by themselves or to the steel surfaces to break or shatter!

3. Neodymium magnets are brittle and will chip or shatter if they are allowed to collide with each other or onto a magnetic surface.
