This package is specifically designed for LG K8V ,Model VS500 from Verizon as we stated in our listing.
LG K8V and LG K8 2017 are different cellphones, they use different batteries.
You can remove the back cover of your smartphone, take out the battery, you can see your cellphone model name in the battery compartment.
If you do not have LG K8V VS500 , this package is not for you.

* To Charge the battery for LG K8V , allow the 2 metal pins on the charger to touch the 1st and the 3rd contacts of battery.
* For other batteries, it's not necessarily to be the 1st and 3rd though, please refer to the user manual.
* You should see the LED light turn blue on the charger, that means the contacts has been firmly connected.
* The LED Light will turn Red when charging the battery, turn blue to indicate the battery is fully charged.
