This pomegranate molasses is a completely natural product of a quality rarely found outside of its traditional marketplace. Pomegranate is well known for its antioxidant properties. This product is made by the Joseph Menhem Establishment in the village of Zakroum overlooking the Mediterranean in North Lebanon. Established in 1991, this family-owned producer is well known in the Lebanon as a provider of high quality distilled products. Sourced by Equitable Gourmet Ltd. who work with small producers of quality foods in developing markets securing support from NGOs and International Aid Agencies. The company gives back 25% of profits to its suppliers.
