Description

The Advanced Sight Microdot with Removable Base (MD-RB-AD) is a new and improved version of our best-selling MD-ADS. The included CR2032 battery powers an ultra-sharp 2 MOA dot with eleven brightness settings and has an estimated 50,000 hours of battery life. The fully multi-coated lenses and low-profile emitter ensure a clean sight picture with minimal lens tint. The eleven brightness settings can be adjusted by using new rotary knob system located on the right side of the MD-RB-AD.

Designed for use on a monumental number of firearms, especially those with heavy recoil (even shotguns), the MD-RB-AD is constructed of Aircraft-Grade 6061-aluminum throughout and features a type II anodized matte black finish. Waterproofing was also improved in this model by changing the turret caps to aluminum, which tighten down around the O-rings until metal-to-metal contact is made with the scope body. When removed, the turret caps can be used to adjust windage and elevation.

A removable 1913 MIL STD Picatinny base is also included. With the base removed, the scope body is compatible with industry standard micro mount systems, enabling MD-RB-AD to be mounted on a vast variety of firearms.
