ECO & ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY: We use the same eco-friendly philosophy when choosing our lunch bag material as we did with our Bklyn Bento lunch box and our Bklyn Steel food thermos. This material not only has a good look and feel to it; it's also Lead-Free, Vinyl-Free and PVC-free.
NEOPRENE LUNCH BAG: Not sure what neoprene is? Go ask a surfer. It's the same material his/her wetsuit is made of. It's super durable, soft, kinda stretchy and it's easy to clean. Oh yeah, it's also waterproof. Surfs up!
EASY TO CLEAN: If you've already been to our Bklyn Bento box listing on Amazon; then you already know how much I love cleaning the dishes (not). We'll this thing is easy to clean. Just throw it in the wash (machine washable). My son, WHO I LOVE DEARLY is the messiest eater on this planet. His Bklyn Bag still looks clean and new.
INSULATED... WELL, KIND OF: We see lots of other manufacturers claiming how neoprene lunch bags and lunch totes will keep your food hot or cold for hours. While it does a decent job of insulating your items; we don't want you to think of this bag as a "cooler". That said, we do think it's a cool bag, but it's not a cooler.
COMFORTABLE HANDLE + SHOULDER STRAP: If you've ever carried a bag with a handle that digs into your hands you'll really appreciate this bag's design. We've made the handle comfortable to carry on long walks; and that blue strap is not just for looks... swing it around the top of the bag and it's a shoulder strap.

Truth is, we really do love this lunch bag. It's eco friendly and it contains No lead, BPA (bisphenol A), phthalates, or PVC.

Here Are The Finer Details:

ZIPPITY DUDA:
This bag has an awesome zipper (one that glides and does not "snag"). We believe this is an important feature and one that sadly gets overlooked by too many manufactures out there.

STITCHING:
We also chose a Z-Stich (also known as a Zigzag-stitch) for the bag's perimeter, around the zipper and for the handle.
If you're a seamstress you'll know this stitch is commonly used on "stretch seams" as it's a super durable stitch.

STRONG LIKE BULL:
This bag can take a beating; it's super durable.
In fact, it's been tested time and time again by my sons who love throwing things.

A DIRTY LUNCH BAG CAN RUIN YOUR APPETITE:
Most lunch bags end up getting dirty. I imagine yours will eventually get dirty too.
No worries. Just throw your bag in the wash (its machine washable).

TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL:
Goldilocks would absolutely adore this bag. It's the perfect size.
Pack your lunch with enough room left for your water bottle, snack and fruit.
It's the perfect size to carry your Bklyn Bento Box to school, work or better yet on a hike.
In fact, our Bklyn Bag is roomy enough to carry 2 Bklyn Bento Boxes. Wondering if our bag will fit other manufacturer's bento boxes?
Nope. Just ours.
Just kidding. It will fit our competitor's bento box too. But why would you even ask that :)
