The White Mountain Hearth Sassafras Refractory Log Set is an artfully crafted log set that will provide a realistic look to the fire and complement the burner pattern to create a lifelike fire, flickering flames and warmth. Unlike a wood fire the vent-free logs generate consistent, controlled heat without flare-ups or die-downs. The Sassafras, like all Empire log sets, are hand painted. A Vent-Free Burner may be installed in a vented fireplace for use as a decorative appliance. A decorative appliance operates with an on/off switch or remote, and may not operate with a thermostat. The Slope Glaze Burner features concealed controls and include a standing pilot for instant starts. This burner features ON/OFF operation as well as variable flame height control and can be operated either manually or with a remote control (included).
