Like our TUFF Series, these pads are built dog tough-constructed of our own proprietary Ripstop ballistic material, these are the most chew proof crate pads you'll find available. The TUFF Velvet is special, however, because it isn't just tough; it's super soft, too! The densely woven shell boasts a layer of plush polyester fibers bonded directly to the Ripstop material, so not only will it resist tearing and scratching, it'll also offer your dog the most luxurious surface to crash on after a long day of play. The TUFF Velvet crate pad is filled with dense, polyester stuffing to give it a plump shape and to cushion your dog from the hard crate bottom. It is fully enclosed, sealed tight around all edges with double-stitching for extra strength, and gives your dog no zippers or Velcro closures to fixate on.

The flexibility and thinness of this pad make it easier for a dog to pinch between its jaws, so it isn't recommended for dogs that chew constantly when crated. For a heavy or persistent chewer, only our Cujo Cot Raised Aluminum bed will do (and yes, it can indeed be used in a wire crate). If you do have a dog that manages to damage this bed within the first 90 days of purchase, we'll replace the pad once free of charge as per our Chew Proof Guarantee.
