If you've ever used caulking, especially silicones and butyls, you may have stuck a nail into the tip, trying to prevent the caulk from hardening in the tip and tube but eventually, you come back a month or so later and the tip is all dried up. With the Caulk Tip, you're able to cut the top of the tube completely off, eliminate the dried part, and attach a replacement Caulk Tip. The Caulk Tip works in all plastic and cardboard caulking tubes. You can insert a new Caulk Tip and use the rest of the caulk that in days past would have ended up in a landfill. This prevents having to run to the paint store to get a new tube of caulk, since you can just rejuvenate a tube you already have.
