~~~HEIRLOOM VARIETY~~~ ***COHOSH*** (Perennial Herb) (Zones 3-8) "Blue" variety (Caulophyllum thalictroides). 3 seeds/pack. Grows from 1' to 4' tall. It has slight, yellow flowers & produces non-edible blue berries. It is a member of the barberry family & is slow to establish from seed. Medicinally the Algonquin Indians used it to produce uterus contractions to induce labor. It aids in stopping muscle spasms, hiccups & epilepsy. It needs shade & loamy soils. ~~~LEVEL of EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THESE SEEDS: Moderate Experience ~~~ I am a Master Gardener from Wisconsin (ZONE 4) & I want to share many of the perennials, annuals, herbs & veggies from my 3rd generation, organic yard with you.
