THICK AND DURABLE Instead of a typical - and lower quality - 130 to 140 gsm weight, we made our sheets with thicker 160 gsm material. This slightly heavier weight makes a big difference in their durability and allows them to withstand regular washings without wearing out or losing any bit of that amazing softness. STAYS IN PLACE A common issue with crib sheets - even fitted ones like ours - is how easily they can slip off a mattress. Not only is this a pain to keep fixing, it's a serious safety hazard for your small child. To solve this problem, we incorporated a 0.75 inch elastic band rather than the traditional 0.25 inch size.
