Veil makeup
I ordered light because sometimes ivory color is too light. The coverage on this is light but covers,Not thick or heavy ... does not accentuate wrinkles and actually the first coat is enough. I want a natural look with blush. I highly recommend this product and will purchase again.

Wow, I can't believe the reviewer who gave it 1 star. I am 51. I have mixed issues at my jawline, both vitiligo and melasma. I tan very well. But, on that area of the face, I get white and dark areas, sort of like spots. I am an athlete and a physical therapist. I have used different foundations for years to cover this area. Most recently I have used Jane Iredale Minerals. I like them, but I have to use about three applications of the minerals for cover.. which isn't a problem except when my skin is somewhat dry. I also get oily skin in the hot humid weather. I have a sail trip with colleagues coming up where I don't want to appear as if I'm wearing makeup especially since we will be working the ship, moving the masts, hiking, kayaking, you know, the fun active vacation where most women don't wear makeup. I dislike my spots, they make me look dirty. I used Veil as shown by a Brittish lady on Facebook. Beauty and the Boutique. I don't have deep circles like she. I have some redness and broken vessels along my nose crease. The biggest issues are the jawline and a couple other spots from sun damage. I wear 50 spf, but I still darken in the summer. I used Veil. You have to feather it on like the Brittish woman said. Then, leave it on a few seconds. Then PAT it in. Don't rub. Rubbing makes it go away. Patting it in blends it. I LOVE this product. It is now my new go to. It's easy and fast following what the Brit says. I do layer it on my jawline, like she recommended for problem areas. I highly recommend watching her videos. My face feels naked, but it's not. I'm also using David Sandler water color blush like she recommended. I followed other's advice... such as patting it on, leaving it on a second, before patting it in and rubbing a little. The look is completely natural with Veil and the blush, yet much better.I ordered the 3N thinking I'd use it when I'm darker. That color didn't work on me. Veil truly does let your own color seep through. 2N is perfect for me. I have pink undertones and wear fuschia and royal very well. I'm far from brown or yellow. (Hints for what color to get). Veil Cosmetics sent me another 2N for an exchange of the 3N and provided free return. I've tried the 3N. They can't resell it. It was my fault for buying the 3N, but they exchanged it anyway. That's real customer service. Yes, this is a little pricey and the customer service is a benefit.. but this is the best find for me in a very long time.

I have previously bought this from another site and love the product. It's easy to apply, stays on very well, and covers dark circles and other marks on my face. I ran out and it takes the other site nearly a month to ship so I was excited to get it within 2 days from Amazon!
Great product
I ordered this after seeing a Facebook page called "Beauty and the Boutique" reviewing it. What impressed me most was the way the dark under-eye circles disappeared for the woman in the video. Unfortunately, the bags under my eyes are still visible after applying this, but I must say they are far less pronounced. It's light and very smooth.

I love this product
I love this product. It's very sheer but good coverage. I like the application process but I'm uncertain as to how much is left in the container because of the dial up applicator. So I just ordered a back up. I bought the neutral light first time around and just ordered the light gold since it is summer and I tend to get a little tan.

Not worth $40 ever!
This concealer is very "transparent" in my opinion. The point of concealer is to "conceal" so when this goes on in a very shiny but transparent way, it is worthless. Definetly not worth the $40 I paid. I really like the drug store brand I paid $8.50 for much, much better!

I feel like I have been robbed! I paid $40 for this tube that doesn't conceal any better than a watery covergirl foundation! I don't mean to hurt this companies sales, but I'm really upset. I watched a stupid youtube makeup tutorial from someone who sells the product on their page! I should have known. It does not cover my dark circles my friend and does not give me any kind of glory highlight. It's just a really poor concealer. Not to mention you have to crank the tube a million times to get the product to come out. It's robbery. There's barely anything in the tube... that's why you have to turn it for 10 minutes to get it to come out. I used it once and literally through the tube across the room into my makeup bag (full of old products I don't use). Ugh! I can't believe I spent that much money on what I thought was a game changer kind of product.

Very nice primer!
Normally I don't like or wear primers. I have tried so many of them and they either make my foundation ball up, cake up, and just generally don't do well (or really do much of anything) with my normal to dry skin. I was in no need to try a new one, but something about Sunset Light (the name maybe?) intrigued me as did a couple of YouTube people using it so I was able to order a sample here to give it a whirl and ended up liking it so much that I came back on here to order the full size but choked when I saw the original price tag of $60, I think? Yikes. I kept stalking Veil for a sale, but one day noticed that the price had been reduced to $45 which was a slight improvement, but then combined with some Amex Points money I had accumulated it brought the price down to half of that, so I ordered this. Guess what? I NOW have a primer that I not only like, but bordering on loving it. This gel-like primer goes on like a dream, absorbs instantly, and hydrates my skin and whatever foundation, cc cream, or bb cream I'm putting on works great with it. It diffuses any imperfections and almost makes my face look like it does when I have my makeup mirror on "evening" mode - you know that soft light one that makes you look 10 jillion times better than "office" or "day"? Well, this primer tends to give me that soft lit-from-within look. So friends, it's a keeper, with a proviso. I would never spend $45 on a primer and don't plan on doing so any time soon - so this will be a repurchase when and if I accumulate more Amex rewards points or if Veil has a sale. Love it.
