Advantage
1. The pump has a built-in MPPT controller which means it can be connected with solar panel directly.
2. When the input voltage is higher than 45v or less than 18v, the pump automatically stops working.
3. In rainy days, the pump will stop working due to insufficient input voltage.Then it will detect the input voltage every 5 minutes. When the voltage is high enough, the pump will restart automatically.
Caution
1. If the pump is overloaded, the working current will be too high and the pump's working life will be shortened.
2. Too long and thin wire will consume too much voltage, the 4mm2 wire is recommended if the wire's total length is no more than 30m, or you should use the thicker wire.
3. "Vmp" of the solar panel
In general, the Vmp of 24v solar panels may be about 30v or 36v. The Vmp 36v solar panel is more applicable for our pumps. Remember output voltage of solar panels directly affects the performance of the pump.
