This tool is a modified version of a Leatherman Skeletool CX multi-tool with a Damascus blade in place of the original plain edge blade. The modifications are made by Texas Tool Crafters Inc. in our Houston, TX USA shop. Texas Tool Crafters Inc. is not affiliated with Leatherman Tool Group Inc.Be prepared, but don't give up your unique streak! Each blade has a unique pattern and is manufactured by hand to exacting standards. Our Damascus blades receive a precision heat treatment and are sharpened with a water cooled Japanese water stone for a glossy edge.
Damascus steel is forged by Alabama Damascus Steel in the USA. Texas Tool Crafters Inc. manufacturers the blades in our Houston, TX USA shop. The Damascus steel has an average hardness of 54 (HRC) and is easy to sharpen with at-home equipment.
Full functionality of the tool is covered by Texas Tool Crafters limited warranty. The tool will not qualify for the original manufacturers' warranty due to the modifications. All repairs will be completed in our Houston, TX USA shop. Please see warranty information below for more information.
Tool will ship with a sheath and warranty information. Each tool is labeled with "Modified by Texas Tool Crafters" and a unique serial number. Our tools and knives are not special editions produced by the original manufacturers - they should be considered unique pieces of (functional) art.
Texas Tool Crafters Inc. has no affiliation with Leatherman Tool Group Inc. This tool/knife has been modified by Texas Tool Crafters Inc. and will no longer quality for the original manufacturers warranty.

Warranty Information
This tool/knife is covered under Texas Tool Crafters limited 5 year warranty. The warranty guarantees that the tool is free of manufacturing defects and guarantees full functionality of the tool/knife. Damage due to normal use that causes impaired functionality of the tool/knife will be repaired at no cost for the duration of the warranty. Warranty duration will be determined by the recorded date of the serial number.
Please be aware that this tool/knife is not eligible for the original manufacturers warranty due to the modifications.

Description
The Skeletool CX has a large straight knife blade that can be accessed while the tool is closed; to open it, just place your thumb in the thumbhole at the base of the blade and rotate it out until it's fully extended - which will engage the safety lock. This locking mechanism is noted with a padlock symbol on the tool. To unlock the blade, press the locking mechanism towards the handle until the blade slides past the lock. Equipped with a universal bit driver, the Skeletool offers real utility options like no other multitool. To change the tool bits, simply unfold the tool and remove the bit from the bit driver - and pop it out. And replacing bits is just as easy. Just press a new one into position and you're good to go. There's even a spare bit located in the handle side opposite the knife blade. This tool includes the following bits: Phillips #1 and #2, screwdriver 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch. In the plier jaws you'll find a hard-wire cutter and a regular wire cutter.
