Certes le temps a dmontr que les detracteurs d'Herg avaient grossi le trait. Mais celui-ci, pour dmontrer son impartialit, a dcid de s'attaquer au dollar roi et d'envoyer Tintin combattre le grand banditisme dans la Chicago d'Al Capone.C'est chose faite ds les 15 premires pages donc cet album ne se rvle tre qu'un srie de sketches sans vritable connection entre eux. Le seul point commun tant que Tintin djoue les plans des bandits. Et cette fois on le voit prendre la dfense des Indiens chasss sans scrupules de leurs terres par les crocodiles du ptrole.
En conclusion, j'ai bien apprci cet album pour ses idaux humanitaires, malgr la quasi-absence de scnario.
