While most malt syrups use enzymes as a short cut and only take a day or two to process, Eden's traditional malting method takes 30-45 days. That's why this syrup is purer, has a richer flavor and works better in recipes. Substitute 1:1 for honey, molasses, sugar and other sweeteners. When substituting for sugar, other liquid ingredients should be reduced by 1/4 for every cup of malt used. Refrigerate after opening.
