The Rockville Bass Rider woofers voice coil use a specially formulated, polyimide-insulated, high temperature wire, designed especially for high SPL response. The winding is bonded onto an incredibly durable and heat resistant aluminum composite former. The voice coil winding length is an incredible 1, which is 80% longer than most standard pro woofers voice coils. The long coil dissipates heat over a larger area and the increased length drives the cone to higher excursions. The coil is layered with a tough thermoset clear epoxy for added durability, abrasion and heat resistance.
The voice coil assembly is bonded to the cones double, linear-progressive Nomex spider, using a thermoset epoxy adhesive. The spider and surround are bonded to the frame with a high strength cyanoacrylate adhesive, which is also used to bond the dust cap to the cone.

Add serious low end to your gig with the Rockville Bass Gig RBG-15S powered subwoofer. This is an incredible sounding powered sub that features a 15" driver with up to 1600-watts of peak power for tremendous bass that can run all night without stopping. The subwoofer features a high temperature 4-layer 4” voice coil and is set in a 100oz magnet motor structure. We upgraded these from a 3" 70 oz magnet to 100 oz and 4". The sound quality was just so much better, that we had to make this upgrade. Most brands on the market have smaller coils and lighter magnets. They will not perform or sound as good as the RBG15S. The amplifier features an internal heat sink with a heat sensitive, variable speed, auto turn-on fan cooling system, so even when your music gets HOT – your amp will stay cool.You can tailor your sound using the built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor), which allows you to either add extended boost or extended low frequency enhancement. The DSP circuit also controls over-excursion, thermal, and clipping protection which will ensure you can pound your subs hours straight without any damage occurring. This sub is built to last for years and years of use. A 3 position Low Pass crossover filters out the highs to make your system sound its best whatever venue you're in.
For added convenience and easy set-up, the RBG15S units feature combo XLR – ¼” TRS inputs with Level control and XLR thru puts to secondary units. Just connect your main mix outputs to the subwoofer, and then link your main speakers from the RBG15S! This sub features a heavy-duty pole-socket so you can mount your main speaker on top for easy setup and positioning and carry handles so you can easily transport it. The cheaper ones use particle board. We spend more money manufacturing these with MDF which will hold up for a much longer time than particle board. We are using a real true pro audio subwoofer in the cabinet which has very large 3" voice coils and a 70 oz magnet. The off brand names use a magnet half the size of this and a smaller size voice coil. The advantage is that our unit can handle more power and will last longer. These subs can take a real beating! The other difference is the build quality. We go the extra mile to use the right amount of glue, solder, etc. Lots of off brand name subs blow due to poor glue or poor solder. Lastly, our company goes through vigorous testing for sound quality and tuning before we start our mass production. Lastly, we have one of our very own technicians go to the factory and inspect a minimum of 15% of the production models to ensure the quality is as good as the original samples we engineered.

Description
The Rockville RBG15FA folded horn subwoofer will blow you away. Please do notlet the price point of this item fool you. Our goal was to manufacture a crazy
loud and great sounding subwoofer. We started by testing subs by other brands
that were retailing between the prices of $699 and $1999. One of our favorite
subs was an old Mackie model called the SWA1501Z. We loved the folded horn
technology. The sub sounded great, packed a huge punch, and sounded as good as
subs that cost twice the price. So our engineers decided on creating our sub
with folded horn technology as well. When we were done manufacturing this thing,
I was so blown away when I heard it. I do not believe there is a sub sounding
this loud and this good even at triple our price. This sub should sell for $1000
easily. If you buy this sub and are not happy with this product, we will call
tag it and refund you in full. This is not some off brand powered sub.
